Honda Two Wheeler India today launched the electric version of its best selling scooter Activa. The new Honda Active e-scooter named Activa e comes with two Honda Mobile Power Pack e Ba: swappable batteries as power source.
Two-wheeler car manufacturer Ego Avru has also announced the launch of scooter QC1 with fixed battery.
Activa Electric will be launched in three major cities of India – Bengaluru, Delhi NCR and Mumbai from February 2025 and booking will open in January 2025.
Honda looks to further promote EV experience by introducing its Honda e:Swap battery-sharing service, Honda Mobile Power Pack e to be used in Javana, also available in Javana city.

Activa E: Warranty
Honda Activa E: Will be available exclusively through select Honda Red Wing dealerships. This distribution method indicates an affordable pricing strategy, with the exact price to be revealed on January 1, 2025.
In terms of warranty, the Honda Activa E: comes with a coverage of 3 years or 50,000 km, as well as three free services during the first year. To enhance the overall customer experience, Honda will also offer complimentary roadside assistance for the first year.
QC1: Design and look
The QC 1 is similar in design to the Honda Activa E: both are built on a completely new platform. The design maintains a simple yet attractive aesthetic, with the headlights featuring a near-future flush-surface design that gives the scooter an iconic look. High-intensity LEDs increase visibility, creating a greater sense of safety during night riding.
The 5-inch LCD instrument panel is highly legible, displaying speed and other essential information such as battery level indicators for enhanced rider convenience.
